Careers

We are a small consultancy, so the people who join us work directly on client campaigns rather than sitting behind an account manager. That suits someone early in their career who wants to learn the craft properly and is happy to ask questions, show their reasoning and be told when something needs doing differently.

The trainee positions below reflect the work we actually do. We are a service-area business without a staffed office in East London, so these roles are not based in a fixed workplace.

Trainee positions

Trainee Local SEO Executive

You would work on the local side of client campaigns: business listings, location pages, local search visibility and understanding how customers search differently across each area we cover.

It suits someone curious about how places and communities shape search behaviour, who is comfortable with detail and happy checking their own work.

Trainee Technical SEO Analyst

You would help diagnose the website problems that block crawling, indexing, speed and usability, and support the audits that turn those findings into a clear plan for a client.

It suits someone methodical who enjoys working out why something is broken, and who wants to build a practical understanding of how websites are put together.

Trainee Outreach Assistant

You would support our link building work: researching relevant sites, preparing approaches and helping maintain the relationships behind credible links and mentions.

It suits someone who writes a clear email, keeps track of ongoing conversations and can take a polite no without losing momentum.

Trainee SEO Content Writer

You would write and edit search-led content, working from research into what people are actually looking for and what they need to know before they make a decision.

It suits someone who reads widely, writes plainly and is willing to research an unfamiliar industry properly before writing about it.

Trainee Ecommerce SEO Assistant

You would support ecommerce campaigns, looking at product and category structure, how ranges are organised and what helps shoppers find the right item through organic search.

It suits someone interested in how online shops are built and how small structural decisions affect what customers can find.

How to apply

We welcome applications on an ongoing basis, whether or not a particular role is being actively recruited for at the time. Email your CV to info@seoserviceseastlondon.co.uk, telling us which position interests you and what draws you to the work.

Formal SEO experience is not expected for a trainee position. If you have written, built or analysed anything you are proud of, however small, mention it — it tells us more than a list of software names.
